Our Four-Step Process to Peak Performance

1) Book Your Test

Getting started is straightforward. You choose your test package based on your sport and goals, then select a time that suits your schedule. During the booking process, you will complete a brief questionnaire covering your training history, fitness level, and performance aims. This information allows your testing protocol to be tailored specifically to you. Every booking is screened to ensure the highest quality outcomes, and you will receive full guidance on preparation so you can perform at your best on the day.

Step 2: On Site Testing

Your testing session takes place at Hustle in Wymondham, Norfolk. Depending on your goals, your assessment focuses on lactate responses and oxygen uptake (VO₂ max) using equipment calibrated to laboratory standards. You are guided through progressive intensities while your physiology is monitored in real time. This ensures your testing is safe, accurate, and relevant to your specific sport. Your session typically takes between 60 and 90 minutes, capturing a comprehensive physiological profile in a professional training environment.

Step 3: Personalised Analysis & Reporting

Your raw data is translated into a comprehensive, personalised report that contextualises your results against your performance goals. You will receive clear visualisations of your key markers: Blood Lactate: Used to define your precise training zones. Sub-Maximal Oxygen Uptake: Measures your running economy and fuel utilisation (fat and carbohydrates). Maximal Oxygen Uptake (VO₂ Max): A key indicator of your cardiorespiratory fitness. Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR): Defines the energy your body needs to maintain essential daily functions.

Step 4: Actionable Recommendations

This is where science becomes your strategy. Based on your results, Elevate provides a physiological profile tailored to your event and goals. Your report includes training zones based on lactate accumulation and your submaximal and maximal physiological responses. Beyond the report, you receive ongoing scientific guidance. This includes advice on recovery, nutrition, and pacing strategies to support your peak performance. You will leave with a clear roadmap for your next training block, backed by evidence-based feedback.

Ongoing Support

Your test is a snapshot in time. As your body adapts to training volume and intensity, your physiological metrics will improve.

Re-testing services are available to track your progression over time. You will likely feel the difference at matched speeds and see increased power output for the same relative effort. Periodic re-testing ensures your training remains optimised in accordance with your next competitive goal.
